New VJMC Website

Finally we have a new website !
Just to let everyone know that like most things in this world this website is still a work in progress …
We have some more things to add like a gallery page with all our trillions of photos that we’d like to share and a few more bits and pieces but wanted to go live in spite of this….
‘ A Bike on the road is worth two in the shed ‘!

Heading to Isle of Man Classic TT August 2018

That’s right ! Where else would you want to be ?..  Things don’t change  much ..As this 1960 TT poster says

‘ For the thrill of your life and a holiday too’……….

Some of the lads from the club are heading off to The Isle of Man Classic TT  in August to take in the sights and sounds… We’ve been heading off for the past few years and it’s always a great trip away ! This year we ride up to Belfast on Sunday morning and catch the Isle of Man Steam Packet ferry over to Douglas. Theres the festival of motorcycling in Jurby on Sunday and Classic TT racing on Monday, Tuesday for a spin or a walk around the pits and then the ferry to Dublin on Wednesday morning. A great few days so pencil it in your diary for next year.

VJMC Bike night, 8pm in Douglas Isle of Man, on Monday 27th August 2018 at the newly done up pier area in between the British Pub and the Barbary Coast Restaurant. Hope to see you there!

VJMC Tiddler Run

Tiddler Run – Dunboyne to Trim

Fantastic turn out for the Tiddler run today, special mention goes to Colin who travelled from Newry with his lovely MB50 and to John Wade who took time out from another engagement to capture some of the run on video click Here!

This year’s VJMC Tiddler winner 1970 Yamaha AS1.

The “prestigious” Spirit of the Tiddler award went to John Gray and his 1970 YAS1, voted by a pretty convincing landslide. Well done John !
